I went to London for 2 days and fell in LOVE

Agreeing to see 5 Seconds of Summer with my friend looking for a concert buddy, was the BEST decision I've made all year.
The concert was really good and 5SOS sound as good live as they do in the studio, but that didn't steal my heart. London's quick pace, sights and diversity stole my heart and left me aspiring to be an independent woman living in an apartment, shopping along oxford street and having a gym membership I actually use.

Alongside this I got to tour the houses of parliament something I've always wanted to do and stood where so many famous prime ministers have been from the likes of Harold Wilson, Churchill, Thatcher and Eden. Excitement took over and my life was made when seeing the previous Prime Ministers brass statues. Visiting on the anniversary of Thatcher's death was the funnest day of my life.
Leaving parliament and then travelling literally to all of London's sights  like Baker Street, visiting Sherlocks house, eating in every Pret A Manger we could find, seeing Fiona Bruce, sitting next to a BBC news reporter who's name escapes me and being a full tourist at Buckingham Palace whilst the guard changed.

Its fair to say London as a city is somewhere I aspire to live in, even if its a short period of my life.

Travelling around London with light luggage heres what I wore:
Day 1: Jumper from Mint Velvet, black Jeans from Toyshop, black boots from Dune, black coat and green snood
Concert: Same black jeans, floral open back crop top from Loot vintage wear Bristol with Calvin Klein Sports Bra and black boots, with 1989 World Tour Jumper, coat and green snood for later in the evening and travelling to the hotel
Day 2: Black jeans, floral peplum top from H&M, same coat and scarf with boots

No More Animal Testing!

Recently I'm becoming more aware to ensure I am not using products from companies that test on animals. Yes, I still use some products tested on animals, but when the high street shops seem to only sell the named brands like L'oreal, Avon and Rimmel London it's hard to escape them. Cruelty free products tend to be quite expensive, especially if you're shopping in lush with shampoo ranging from £4-£11.

Ways I've found to help when going cruelty free is buying shops own products. They are just as good and are a cheaper alternative as well. Superdrug and Tesco are the best UK stores to find animal free tested products.
http://www.crueltyfreekitty.com/companies-that-test-on-animals/ is a good website to use to see what companies do and don't test on animals.

Personally I find PETA a little too much as they preach about Vegan-ism and "They’ve gone as far as to claim milk is a “racist drink”, because certain minorities show a greater propensity for lactose intolerance."
